Left Eye To Make Posthumous Appearance On TLC Reunion Tour

Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez was as well known in the ’90s for her outlandish fashion sense (condom eyepatch, anyone?) and violent temper (she burned down her boyfriend’s house after an argument) as she was for her musical ability, but she did have talent, and I think it got overshadowed a bit by her antics. When she died in a car accident in Honduras in 2002, she left the music world in shock and a lasting influence on people who would eventually get into the business.
R&B singer Monica says she was only 12 when she first met Left Eye, but she received some very valuable advice from her that has resonated through the years.


Yesterday, on the tenth anniversary of her death, TLC announced a new tour which will incorporate Left Eye through archived footage. Perhaps inspired by the Tupac hologram at Coachella this year, the group says they will have Left Eye singing with them while her image is projected onto a giant screen.

Lamar Odom has resigned from the Dallas Mavericks just as the team was about to cut him from their roster. Lamar will blame Khloe Kardashian for this humiliation but he is wrong to do so. Nobody forced Lamar to take on the Kardashian famewhore mantle – he eagerly put it on and ignored his athletic talent in order to be a big TV star.

Now Lamar has to bear the shame of ruining his basketball reputation as ‘his play has been downright atrocious this season — he’s put up career low numbers and just hasn’t appeared motivated on the court.’

This potentially career-ending tragedy will put strains on his relationship with Khloe that will break the marriage. Khloe must be totally freaking out!

TMZ tells us: Stick a fork in Lamar Odom … ’cause he’s officially DONE in Dallas. Odom released a statement explaining he will “step away from the team” … effective immediately.

He added, “I’m sorry that things didn’t work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs’ organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship.” According to ESPN, Odom will leave the team ASAP … but he will not be cut.

Instead, Odom will be listed as “inactive” for the rest of the season … which means he could still be traded after the season. Odom has been downright atrocious this season — he’s put up career low numbers and just hasn’t appeared motivated on the court.Sucks even worse for his wife Khloe Kardashian … because the couple had just leased a condo in Dallas and had planned to begin shooting footage for the family reality show.

Magazine senior editor Alexis Chiu told TODAY's Matt Lauer and Ann Curry that Beyonce is "flawless, she's gorgeous, she's at the top of her game career-wise, she's this music icon at 30 years old and on top of it she has this glow going on ... She's a new mom."
"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth," Beyonce told People in an interview to appear in the issue, which will hit newsstands April 27
"The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy," she added. "The word 'love' means something completely different now."

Also included among the mag's "most beautiful" categories are names that include Jennifer Aniston, Michelle Obama, Jennifer Hudson, Kristen Wiig, Jennifer Lawrence and Selena Gomez. TODAY's Kathie Lee Gifford and NBC's Meredith Viera also made one of the lists.
"All beautiful women who are very of-the-moment," said Chiu.
Last year's choice was Jennifer Lopez.

American Idol had fans scratching their heads two weeks in a row after another shocking elimination. Potential favorite Colton Dixon, the Christian rocker from Tennessee, found himself in unfamiliar territory on last week's episode, landing in the bottom three for the first time. Fans were convinced that he would return to the couch, but after 53 million votes, Dixon was sent packing.
